Women 2 Drive In Saudi Arabia-borderland

Religion The End of the World came, May 21, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. EDT, and we’re all still here! That was the time 200,000 of us were supposed to experience the "Jubilee" and float up into heaven, after some predicted a major earthquake, and five months of trials and tribulations would begin. The "world finally ends" on October 21, 2011 after all of these upheavals. That was the prediction of one "Christian" group, which brought in $18 million in donations in 2009 making such predictions by selling their particular type of bologna to loyal followers. I’m in the wrong business! With equal assurance, I feel confident that God will not be punishing Saudi Arabia after its leaders allow women to begin driving. I know this is that God made everything. Well actually, whether God did or didn’t doesn’t make much difference, because either God did or didn’t. If God made everything, then God created and supports countries where over 99% of the women on the planet are allowed to drive. Where is God’s punishment on any of those countries for allowing their women to drive? There’s no real reason to think that God should punish Saudi Arabia or Saudi women, contrary to the dicta of the infamous and misogynist .mittee for the Propagation of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice, and the "pious" clerics that back it up with ridiculous rulings about what God does and does not think, despite the evidence to the contrary. Of course, if God didn’t make anything except Saudi Arabia, then that would be a different story altogether. But it seems that 46 of the 47 Muslim majority countries in the world don’t follow the dictates of the "pious" clerics of Saudi Arabia, and those countries still exist, unpunished by God for their apostasy! There has been a lot of discussion in various Facebook .munities recently on the topic of women driving in Saudi Arabia. In several recent posts the CPVPV have suggested that husbands be prepared to beat their wives, if they attempt to drive on June 17, 2011. That’s the day as many as a thousand women say they will exercise their right to drive using .pletely legal international driver’s licenses. This has been reported widely in the press, including on CNN, and the world will be watching. Who are these people to suggest that corporal punishment of one’s spouse is appropriate in the 21st Century? In the United States, and the rest of the civilized world, such behavior would land the husband in jail for assault. In the same sense that a Christian minister said Harold Camping’s Family Radio, the proselytizers of the end of the world theme, give Christianity a bad name, the "pious men," who are allowed to behave this way in Saudi Arabia, are giving Islam a bad name. What is their real game? Why is it important to them to keep women so controlled in their country? We know Family Radio and Harold Camping are about free PR for his radio station, and CNN is certainly obliging him with millions of dollars worth of free airtime. Even I am helping him advertise his .anization by writing this article. In the case of the "pious" men of Saudi Arabia, what is the real game? What’s in it for them? That’s what I want to know! God’s will about women driving, presented in mysterious ways, is clear in 99% of the world. The morals police of Saudi Arabia are simply paying no attention to God. That is clear!
